Nails // Barry M Spring Pastels

Green Berry - Rose Hip - Huckleburry - Prickly Pear
£3.99 each

I never thought I'd see the day where I'd be into pastel nail polishes as I've always been a strictly darks kinda girl. However, this selection from Barry M was too lovely to leave.

I always find that chalkier shades tend to be a bit thicker in consistancy, and that's definitely true of Rose Hip. It's a beautiful pastel pink shade, but is a bit gloopy and takes 3 coats for an opaque and streak-free finish. The others are 2 coat jobs and the shades are perfect for spring and summer. My favourite is Green Berry, it's definitely unique being a pastel turquoise rather than the generic mint green. This shade with a tan is beautiful and will definitely be a nail staple for this summer. I find the lasting power of Barry M differs from polish to polish; but my nails are so gross right now that I've been using stick-ons which last up to a week and the polish bonds better to the artificial nail than real ones.

Which are your favourites?

Lotsa Love.
