Polyvore // Outfit Inspiration #1

I am addicted to polyvore. I think that since I've had the app on my phone it's made me really consider pursuing styling as a career because I love putting outfits together and can always envisage what could go with what. So I thought I'd start posting some of the outfits that I put together as little in-between posts. I actually put together this outfit a while ago, and had bought all the pieces minus the Topshop felt tip crop top. But last night after a bidding war on eBay I managed to get my hands on it for a mere £5.50 rather than the £36 retail price - so I'll probably be doing an outfit of the day showing these pieces at some point soon. Let me know if these posts are good fashion inspiration, or just a bit naff because it would be good to know.

The one area of the beauty world I am still hesitant to dip my toes into is nude lipsticks. I am half Jamaican so every experience I have had as of yet with nude lipsticks have made me look 50 shades of dead. On a recent browse round my beloved Boots, I came across the new L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Collection Privée, whereby 6 of the iconic L’Oreal spokeswomen have created a tailor made nude lipstick (Doutzen Kroes, Eva Longoria, Cheryl Cole, Julianne Moore, Freida Pinto and Liya Kebede). I decided to pick the shades Eva and Julianne:

This was an outfit I wore last weekend for my boyfriend's cousin's engagement party. This dress is amazing but so figure hugging. I made the mistake of not eating before hand so that I didn't bloat, and then drunk alcohol and lets just say the night ended very very badly lol. I paired it with my white Zara blazer, another lesson learnt to never wear white when there's a chance I might have one too many drinks. I can't wait to be able to wear this dress again because I loved it so much. I called this OOTN 'Back 2 You' purely because it's my favourite song at the moment.
